A Warm Welcome

Welcome to the Blog! 

It has been a hot minute since I did my last blog post! Like 5 years ago to be exact. June 13, 2014, my post was all about launching a new website and blog. As you can see I took the country road instead of the interstate in terms of speed. I hit a few potholes along the way. I tried once....things fell apart..... the second time around got things going but quickly faded as my tech skills weren’t there. THIRD TIME is a charm and I believe I can confidently say.....I AM ON MY WAY! 

I love having a blog again to share and inspire. Currently, I am trying to finish up decorating the house for Christmas. I feel like I live at the shop but love coming home to where our décor is more simple. 

Adding simple touches of greens always makes anything look wonderful. I left my white gourds in the kitchen and added them to my scale. They were too pretty to throw away. I hope they last thru the holidays. I think natural elements are great accents. 

When decorating for Christmas, I like to think about the actual season we are in. Winter begins on Dec. 21st. I like to be able to leave out a lot of my favorite things so I try to keep it “wintery”. My love for a neutral palette really comes in handy during winter. Whites of all different shades make for an easy transition.
